I adore this painting. So much I also created a watercolor of it. The reeds move like music. The storm is dramatic - like the ocean. You can feel both churning, the activity pending. The sand is so real you can feel it. The strength of color, movement of the clouds, water and reeds - the excitement of all these elements and the lure of the sand dune in the foreground - so inviting to the "Carolina Dunes".
