Frame Detail
There is always a mix of the artists emotions and philosophies in each painting. The intensity of the sunset and the smooth expanse of the sandy dunes are a wonderful contrast in this original oil painting.
I revisited the Carolina sand dunes several times. It changes - and kept luring me back. This sunset piece allowed me to revisit the sand - which is so real - the reeds I love. This time I kept the ocean a mystery. Walk into the painting.
