| Watercolor Painting is my first love. Oddly watercolor painting was initially used for preliminary oil paintings, background work, cartoons even. Botanical and wildlife art is perhaps the oldest and most notable watercolor art. Today it is considered more difficult than oil painting as it is unforgiving. You cannot paint over mistakes, many of the pigments stain the paper and there is no way to remove them. On the fun side - you can truly paint with water. One drop of water added to wet paint, or dry has completely different results and the challenge is learning to control each. Enjoy my Watercolor paintings.
