Businesses are bombarded with phones calls<\/strong> with urgent messages your Google map is in “danger”.<\/p>\n

1-The message varies from you\u2019ll never show up to it desperately needs help.\u00a0 These calls have become cloned.\u00a0 We\u2019re led to believe Google is calling, but as often as not it is a third party company with a sales pitch.\u00a0 You can claim your Google + business listing and fill out your content.\u00a0 (If you have ever used a company like Yext you might be locked out.)<\/p>\n

2-\u201cI\u2019m from Windows calling regarding your computer…\u201d Hang up.\u00a0 If you stayed on you would hear your computer has been infected and they can fix it. \u00a0Microsoft doesn\u2019t call people to fix their computers.<\/p>\n

3-The recorded messages, \u201cHi, I\u2019m Sharon from Google\u2026\u201d\u00a0 Unless you are ready for Pay per Click\/Google AdWords, hang up.\u00a0 Should you be interested in Google AdWords initiate the phone call yourself. Call 855-245-0843 (9am\u20139pm ET, Mon\u2013Fri).<\/p>\n
