Beginning to paint while living in England Brenda's cottages are her most loved pieces,
full of happy memories and a deep love for England.

Quaint old England is still alive - in our hearts. One of my favorite scenes to paint. It begins
with the thatched roof, the timber and peaks and always...the gardens. Everything about the English countryside fascinates
and enthralls me. There is no green like Oxfordshire green—rich and full. The stone walls, old churches and narrow roads -
a simpler life, a charming life.
