There are three steps to creating your customized website.
1.Secure domain name. Your website name. This can be done through a number of resources. I use namesecure.com. Online registration is simple. $8.95/year (subject to change) plus a regulatory fee of $0.18/year (total of $9.13/year). 2. Web Hosting. There are many, many resources. Your topmost concerns are the web host’s (also called “server”) reliability rate and support. If you have shopping cart needs or forms (CGI or PHP scripting) there are several elements that must be part of your web host server. This is your business: the cheapest is not what you want. If you have secured web hosting services I will upload files to server. No charge. You will need to provide Password and User Name. If you uses my web host resource the semi-annual web host fee is $90.00 ($15.00/month) (subject to change) includes webmail & email forwarding set up at No Charge. Additional services available as needed. Sixty days prior to renewal date you will be invoiced and payment is due within 30 days prior to expiration. If not paid in time website will be deleted and there will be a $100.00 setup fee plus web host fee. As with all web hosting any excessive bandwidth uses resulting in additional fees will be charged to client as billed to me, Brenda Simon. 3. Web Design. My Basic package includes up to 10 static custom web pages (does not include Flash, video, audio, cgi-forms or e-commerce) for $750.00. Each additional web page $50.00. Minor photo editing (see examples) corrections are included with each beginning website package.There is NO monthly maintenance fee. My clients are free to contact me any time with web questions and issues. Once the custom website is completed your only ongoing cost is the web hosting fee until you are ready to update or change pages on your site. My rate for changes and updates is $35.00/hour, one hour minimum and quarter hour increments thereafter. I suggest my clients save up the little changes to maximize the fee
Each product for sale typically needs it's own information page, (which is also can be used for SEO and pushing your website up through the rankings.) Google analytics added $40.00 for 10 pages. Requires Google gmail account. As a multi-media designer there are so many possibilities, please contact me with your specific needs for a richer customized website.
Websites need to be tailored to the business and I take great care to set the tone of the site to reflect your business practices and goals. Your website will be custom designed using your logo and copy/text/information. While you supply the images and content for your site I am able to enhance and correct photos. All web design includes web banner, graphic/photos optimization and search engine optimization, something typically charged separately, most designers do not include this. Don't have a logo? I can create one. Most web designers include in their contract they "own" and maintain the copyright of your website design. This is not my practice. I provide my services as work for hire. You will receive your website via email or disc (depending on size) and it is yours. I do put on your home page "designed by Brenda Simon Creations" with a link back to my site. You will receive your entire finished website (files) via email (or CD disc) upon completion. My goal is to make this simple and bring your vision to the Internet. Together we will build the best website for your company’s needs. Small businesses can have the look and feel of their larger competitors at affordable web design prices.
